Usage data: We record your swipe actions (like, dislike, skip), product interactions, and browsing patterns within the app. This data powers your Style Persona and personalized recommendations.

Device information: We collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address for analytics and security purposes.

Push notification tokens: If you opt in to notifications, we store your push subscription endpoint to send price drop alerts and other updates.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the Well-Kept experience, including your daily feed and Style Persona
• Send price drop alerts for items you've liked
• Improve our product catalog and recommendation algorithms
• Monitor app performance and fix issues
• Communicate service updates and new features

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Well-Kept:

• Clerk — Authentication and account management
• Vercel — Application hosting and delivery
• PostgreSQL provider — Database hosting
• Sentry — Error monitoring and crash reporting

When you tap “Shop” on a product, you are redirected to the brand's website. That site's own privacy policy applies from that point.

5. Public Closet

Your liked items and Style Persona may be visible on your public closet page (app.wellkept.style/closet/username) if you choose to share it. You can control what is visible in your profile settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Swipe history and persona data are kept to maintain your recommendations and Style Persona. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication through Clerk, and access-controlled database connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings
• Export your data in a portable format
